FIRST POST!

Greetings, everyone... if there's actually anyone reading yet. *G* Welcome to yet another place for me to blab about the writing life! Or really, any part of life in general. Allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Heather Fowler, I'm an author, student, and bon vivant from UP-up-upstate New York. I'm 36, single, and a big paranormal geek. I love reading, writing, long walks on the beach... just kidding. *G* I like all kinds of sedentary non-activity, although I do try and practice yoga regularly. I'm a big TV and movie geek: anything with vampires in it, I'm there. I'm currently sort of off TV. The only show I've been watching this season with any regularity (that I'll admit to in public. *G*) is "Veronica Mars". I haven't really decided how I feel about it yet, besides resentful of the fact that everybody wants to compare it to Buffy, and HELLO, other than a tiny blonde girl with a smart mouth? NOTHING alike. Did I mention I'm a big TV geek? Anything scifi/fantasy/horror, but my Great Love is Buffy/Angel.

I've recently returned to college to pursue a second bachelor's degree in Writing (my first is in Psychology) and I'm also working to build my writing career. My first book, THE VEIL, will be released in serial format MAY 26 by INARA PRESS. Then I have two short erotic paranormal stories coming in June from Freya's Bower. When ordering information is available for either, I'll post it here. :)
